Thank you for your patience and continued support of our community during this difficult time. We have reviewed the recent comments from the Governor, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the Alameda County Office of Education. We expect that school will remain closed and in-person education will not resume this school year. We are saddened to potentially not see our community together again this year but will continue to act in the best interests of our students, staff, and families.
Thank you for your support of our children and our community at this time. We understand that closures and countywide shelter-in-place orders are difficult and stressful for all. Our overall goal is to support the health of our community and to educate our children. We recognize that there are barriers to doing so remotely, and we are working with our local, state, and federal partners to explore current and future opportunities for our children. This includes working directly with our SELPA, local partners, and the CDE on Special Education needs for our children. We ask for your patience during this unprecedented time. We will reach out with more communication later this week. In the meantime, please take care of yourselves and your families.
