Dear San Antonio Neighborhood Safety Team,
On behalf of the FIAEB and BBBON organization we invite you to our public action on Monday, September 19, at 6:30pm on zoom.
As we all know and live, our flatlands families in Oakland are in crisis due to the illegal dumping, abandoned vehicles and the unhoused people living under inhuman conditions at the front doors of our families’ homes.
On this Monday, we will be meeting with our Councilmembers, our Mayor as well as our OPW Director and the Parking and Mobility Director.
Given the depth of this crisis, our city needs to respond by making A Number One Priority the cleaning of our streets of the trash, removing abandoned vehicles and sheltering people living outside people’s homes, schools, libraries and public parks.
Our city needs to be declared as A State of Emergency
Attached is a flyer with the link and more information about the event. We are looking forward to your considering if you can join on Monday. Please share.
