We make the news in Germany!


Oakland’s Community School is the United States hub of the International Emergency Pedagogy Team As our first US Intervention, under the leadership of Friends of waldorf Education CFO Bernd Ruf and his international team, and as their give, our 16-person team went to Chico this weekend to work with our host school, Chico’s Blue Oak Waldorf Charter School, to conduct the country’s first Emergency Pedagogy Intervention and support. Mills College Waldorf Certificate Program Launches Amidst High Praise


Mills Waldorf Certificate Program Cohort 1  completes its first summer  with globally reveredWaldorf educators Professor Jost Schieren, Alanus University, Alster, Germany,  and Mr. Bernd Ruf, Friends of Waldorf Education and Parzival Zentrum,  Karlsruhe, Germany.  Practical skills faculty include veteran Waldorf teachers US  Ms Elke Berger, Community School for Creative Education, Oakland, US  and Ms Gail Weger, Marin Waldorf School, CA US.  Thanks abounds. We look forward to Summer 2  next July for participants to earn the Mills Waldorf Certificate. We thank our funders:

CSCE helps launch Mills College Waldorf Certificate Program (5/2018)

 CSCE aides in launch of the Mills College Waldorf Certificate Program. Mills Launches Waldorf Certificate Program Mills  College School of Education is launching a new summer Waldorf  Certificate Program in collaboration with Alanus University, Germany.  Waldorf education promotes a pedagogy that emphasizes the role of  imagination in learning, striving to integrate holistically the  intellectual, practical, and artistic development of students.
