2017-2018 Education Protection Account (EPA) Resolution
IT IS RESOLVED that the Education Protection Account funds to be received by the school in FY 2017-2018 in the estimated amount of $287,150, will be used solely for instructional non-administrative expenses.
Protected Prayer Resolution 2017-18
The LEA hereby assures and certifies to the California State Board of Education that the LEA has no policy that prevents, or otherwise denies participation in, constitutionally protected prayer in public schools as set forth in the "Guidance on Constitutionally Protected Prayer in Public Elementary and Secondary Schools.
One-Time Grant Resolution 2017-18
Approve use of approximately $29,068 in 2017-2018 one-time funding allocated by the state to Community School for Creative Education to first satisfy outstanding mandate claims, and then, consistent with legislative intent, to support one-time expenses. CSCE will prioritize expenses related to professional development, teacher induction, instructional materials, technology infrastructure, and other investments that support the implementation of the common core standards in English language arts and mathematics, English Language Development standards, and Next Generation Science Standards.
